Just a Capful of Water Provides Proper Mosquito Breeding Environment
SCHAUMBURG, Ill. (February 28, 2004) - When you consider that a capful of water provides a breeding environment capable of producing hundreds of mosquitoes, the need to treat the outdoor living environment becomes clear. Pre-Strike larvicide is a preventative mosquito control product that kills developing mosquitoes before they hatch by using an insect growth regulator. 2003 CDC West Nile Virus statistics underscore the importance of preventive measures in treating outdoor living environment. In all, there were 9,122 cases with 69% of these being West Nile Fever (milder disease), 30% were West Nile meningitis (severe disease) and the remaining cases were clinically unspecified.*
